Jens P. Kaalstad has over 30 year of broad experience in the Oil and Gas, Shipping and Offshore industry. He graduated with a Master of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Norwegian Institute of Technology in 1983 and also served one year at MIT, Department of Ocean Engineering in 1980-81. Jens has held several senior management positions with companies. He has strongly focused on Technology Development and has a varied background in management, engineering, technology development, contracting, procurement, construction and installation. He has been responsible for marketing, identifying, developing, negotiating and closing of EPCI contracts in excess of $100 million, and has been involved in numerous design, fabrication and installation projects. He also has been involved in development projects for various fixed and floating platform solutions.
